Falernia 'Don Aldo Olivier PXC', Elqui Valley, Chile
Readers rated this wine:
Juicy, fragrant, slick.
The Don Aldo Olivier PXC is made by Falernia, a winery established in 1998 in the northernmost winemaking region of Chile, in the semi-arid Elqui Valley.PXC stands for Pedro Ximenez and Chardonnay, the two varieties that make up this fragrant white. PX is an uncommon variety outside of Spain's southern Andalusia. Notes of beeswax and stone fruits, red apple skin and lemondrops, peach and straw flowers developed into a slick palate with oodles of lemon and lime flavours. It's dry and juicy and so easy to drink.
